Social Programme

Enjoy 3 social activities and trips every week! 

You will be able to make friends and enjoy all the best places to visit in Scotland on our social programme. We organise 3 activities, every week, whatever the weather. Every activity is planned and led by one of our teachers. 

  • Every Wednesday there is a Conversation Club at a local book shop cafe where students practice their English and make new friends. 
  • Every Friday afternoon a teacher leads a Half-Day Trip
  • Every Saturday a teacher leads a Full-Day Trip

Locaitons for half-day school trips change with the seasons but some examples inlcude:

  • Musuems and Art Galleries
  • Glasgow City Chambers 
  • Country Parks
  • Botanic Gardens 
  • Laser Tag 
  • Bowling 
  • Fruit Picking at a Local Farm 
  • Local Brewery or Distillery   
  • Ice Skating and Christmas Markets 

Locations for full-day trips also vary but some examples include:

  • Edinburgh
  • Stirling Castle 
  • Loch Lomond
  • New Lanark & the Falls of Clyde
  • Viking Festival 
  • Highland Games 
  • Beaches and Seaside Towns
  • Islands like Bute and Cumbrae

In addition if you wish to organise your own activity or excursion we are very happy to help with advice and assistance, even if you want to go and look for the Loch Ness Monster!

Many of the school trips are FREE but there may be a cost per trip of between £5 and £30 approximately to cover transportation and entry costs.
